1. Introduction

Welcome to Synoptic. By using our cloud studio and bilingual typesetting engine, you agree to these Terms. Last updated: December 2025.

2. Intellectual Property & Content Ownership

We differentiate clearly between the Tool and the Creation.

Your Sovereignty: You retain 100% ownership of your manuscripts, translations, and exports.
Our Technology: The interface, Typesetting Engine v4.0, and code are the property of Synoptic.

3. User Obligations

You agree strictly not to reverse engineer our engine or use automated scripts to scrape our library.

4. Subscriptions & AI Units

Plans are billed monthly. AI Units are consumed per 'intellectual operation' (e.g., 1 paragraph translation = 1 Unit). Unused units do not roll over unless explicitly stated.

5. Publishing Disclaimers

While our features are optimized for KDP, we do not guarantee acceptance by third-party platforms. You are responsible for the final proof review.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate our Fair Use policy or engage in abusive behavior.
