Privacy @ Synoptic

We understand that your manuscripts are your soul. Our privacy policy is designed with a single goal: protecting your intellectual property.

Our Privacy Philosophy

Synoptic was built on the principle of 'Sovereign Knowledge.' We believe your manuscripts are private property. We only collect what is strictly necessary.

Information We Collect

We collect account data (email, name) for login, project metadata (titles, structure), and user content (text files) solely for processing.

  • Account Data: Name and email for billing.
  • Project Metadata: To maintain library state.
  • User Content: Encrypted and siloed.

AI Processing & Data Siloing

We differ from standard AI tools. Your manuscripts are NOT used to train our global AI models. We use specialized, siloed agents that are terminated immediately after the task.

Data Storage & Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest. You may delete a project at any time to permanently remove it from our servers.

Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share only with essential providers like Stripe (Billing) and AWS/DigitalOcean (Infrastructure).
